Equation

As printed (Section 3.2, model 14 / Table 4, model 5)

ln(M) = −2.4733 + 0.2893(ln D)2 − 0.0372(ln D)3 + 0.7415 ln(D2 H) + 0.2843 ln(ρ)

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Aboveground biomass = exp(-2.4733 + 0.2893 * ln(D)^2 - 0.0372 * ln(D)^3 + 0.7415 * ln(D^2 * H) + 0.2843 * ln(rho))
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
H
Total tree height, m
rho
Wood density (oven-dry mass / green volume), g/cm³

Best pan moist tropical equation in the paper. Table 4 gives the ln(ρ) coefficient in the footnote (0.2843). Coefficients are used as printed; the paper does not state that the log-scale back-transformation correction factor is included, so none is applied. Reported R² is the adjusted R². Equation chosen from the paper's recommended set (7 of its equations captured).
