In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)
Aboveground biomass = exp(-3.5715 + 2.7203 * ln(D)) + exp(-4.82 + 2.5112 * ln(D)) + exp(-3.9112 + 2.0327 * ln(D))D- Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
Mongolian pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica) plantations, System 1 (D only) of Table 4: ln W = a* + b* ln D, natural logarithm, coefficients as printed (a*, b*, c*). No correction factor is stated in the paper, none applied. n and D/H ranges from Table 2 (sample statistics of the fitted trees). Stem includes bark; roots exclude fine roots <5 mm. No R2 recorded (adjusted R2 only). The paper defines this total as the exact sum of its component equations (additivity constraint); the expression is that sum with the Table 4 component coefficients, not a separately printed coefficient set.

a total of 114 Korean pine trees, 90 larch trees, and 85 Mongolian pine trees were destructively sampled
- Trees measured
- 85
- DBH range
- 6–38.7 cm
- Height range
- 3.5–22.3 m
- Method
- seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) on log-transformed additive system, ln W = a + b ln D
- Where
- Pure plantations, northeast China

Shaded: the DBH range the model was fitted on. Other inputs held at the values above.
On every build, the library's form and the paper's own form (in its units) must both give these values within 1%.
