Equation

As printed (Table 7, equation 14)

AGB = 0.333 × D^2.379 × WD^1.098

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Aboveground biomass = 1.052 * exp(-1.152 + 2.379*ln(D) + 1.098*ln(rho))
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
rho
Wood density (oven-dry mass / green volume), g/cm³

Selected general equation of the project (Eq. 14 in the text, Table 7 code 14). Wood density range of the 144 trees 0.239-0.640 g/cm3. Table 7 gives the final equation with the correction factor e^(RSE^2/2) folded into the coefficient a; here the published form is written from the linear expression in Table 7 with the printed correction factor applied, which agrees with the printed a. Dry mass in kg, D in cm, WD in g/cm3. Trees harvested 2022-2023 in 13-year-old plantations; AGB sums leaves, twigs, branches and trunk. Ranges are for the sampled trees (Table 2). RSE is as printed in Table 5/6.
