Equation

As printed (Table 4 (forms in Eqs. 16-19))

Bcu = a1 × (D2H)b1 (parameters a1 0.02269 b1 0.90703)

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Stem biomass = 0.02269 * (D^2 * H)^0.90703
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
H
Total tree height, m

One bamboo culm (plant) per record; D is culm diameter at breast height. Biomass in kg dry mass per plant. Component equations are fitted simultaneously (SUR) so the AGB equation is the sum of the three components. Parameters as printed in Table 4; the paper reports adjusted R2 only, so r2 is omitted.

Source
A total of 83 bamboo culms covering the full range of sizes were destructively sampled with D ranging from 3.6–9.5 cm, with H of 6.1–25.4 m
