Equation (8), Ŷprod = β10 D^β11 H^β12, Ŷres = β20 D^β21; dry weight β10 0.0378, β11 1.8930, β12 0.7880, β20 0.0372, β21 2.1755

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Aboveground biomass = 0.0378 * D^1.893 * H^0.788 + 0.0372 * D^2.1755
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
H
Total tree height, m

Dry-weight system with DBHOB and total height; R2 for total tree 0.94. Total tree dry weight is the sum of the product (stem sawlog and pulpwood) and residue (stump, branches with needles, waste) equations, so it is aboveground including stump and foliage. DBHOB is diameter at breast height over bark at 1.3 m, in cm; weights in kg (dry). Rotation-age stands, 28 to 42 years, unthinned and thinned pooled. Product and residue equations are not added individually, nor the fresh-weight, stand-type dummy (Equations 9 and 10) or allocative systems. No correction factor is applied.
