Oak stem biomass under bark, Level 2

Stem biomass, without barkQuercus (Q. robur and Q. petraea)CzechiaRead from the original paperPeer-reviewed sourceNot fully checked

Not fully checked: The stored height range follows the abstract's 6–32 m, but Table 1 reports conflicting site height ranges. Fig. 2 supports taller trees than Table 1 lists for Lanžhot. Confirm the fitted height limits before treating them as firm applicability bounds.

Equation

As printed (Table 3, model below table and Stem biomass under bark, Level 2 row, p. 115)

Biomass component = λ × exp(p₀ + p₁ × lnD + p₂ × lnH); p₀ = −3.964, p₁ = 1.920, p₂ = 1.089, λ = 1.000

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Stem biomass, without bark = 1.000 * exp(-3.964 + 1.920 * ln(D) + 1.089 * ln(H))
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm
H
Total tree height, m

Stem biomass excludes bark. The printed correction factor of 1.000 multiplies the back-transformed prediction. Stem wood biomass was estimated using a conventional density. Adjusted R² is not stored as unadjusted R².
