Equation

As printed (Table III, model in caption and lnMBC row, p. 442)

lnMBC = ln a + b lnD; ln a = −6.3807, b = 3.1037

In this library's units, ready to compute (kg)

Branch biomass = 1.1295 * exp(-6.3807 + 3.1037 * ln(D))
D
Diameter at breast height (1.3 m), cm

D is DBH at 1.3 m. Multiply by Table III's CF once; it equals exp(SEE²/2), although the text calls SEE²/2 CF. Crown branches only; this is not total branch biomass. The retained 5.19–40.6 cm range is explicitly reported in the methods (p. 441); the later comparison describes a largest Greek tree of 41.45 cm (p. 446). That sample-description discrepancy is not used to extend the reported range.
